Barangay Stoop. Niño is as formerly at Sitio of Barangay Nabuslot known as SIETE. It is seven kilometers away from the town, as it is the first Barangay reached via the National High Way from the provincial capital. It was separated from the latter in the early 80’s through the initiative of Mr. Mario D. Paylago who was a former municipal administrator during the administration of Mayor Emelina L. Baldos.
Barangay Sto. Niño was named by the former Mayor Hon. Emelina L. Baldos. It has seven sitio’s and a population of 1,299 and 256 households.Barangay fiesta is celebrated every 3rd Sunday of January and in honor of the patron ST. STO. NIÑO.
